Product Description:
The DDC01.1-F050A-DS25-01-FW is a digital intelligent servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into regulated output for controlling the torque, speed, and position of servo motors used in automated production lines. Power electronics, communication functions, and closed-loop control are integrated within a sealed housing. This arrangement permits installation near the actuator, shortens motor leads, and reduces the amount of control-cabinet space required for the drive system.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3 × 230 VAC (+10%/-15%) at a mains frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. Under these conditions, its power stage delivers a continuous output current of 50 A. Thermal energy is removed by liquid cooling routed through the baseplate, allowing heat to be transferred away from the power components during sustained operation. The enclosure has an ingress protection rating of IP65, which permits direct machine mounting without an auxiliary enclosure and protects internal components against dust and low-pressure water jets. Its acoustic output is assigned to the standard 100 A to 200 A noise-emission class. The unit is Series 1 and Version 1, with Function ID Version 01.
The command layer uses the SERCOS interface to exchange deterministic process data with a higher-level controller. Communication travels through optical fiber cables, which provide galvanic isolation and resist electromagnetic interference from nearby motors and switching equipment. Dedicated SERCOS inputs carry reference, limit, and sensor signals for coordinated multi-axis operation. Rotor position is returned through digital servo feedback, allowing the drive to regulate motor position and velocity through closed-loop control. The feedback interface supports cable lengths of up to 75 m, providing sufficient routing distance for large machines and distributed production equipment. The control electronics monitor link integrity and parameter consistency to preserve communication timing during high-bandwidth motion.
