Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DDC01.1-K050B-DL04-01-FW as part of the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. This servo drive conditions power and executes motion profiles for industrial axes, providing closed-loop control that links the machine PLC to the motor. It mounts directly on the machine frame, eliminating a panel enclosure and shortening feedback wiring, which is useful in packaging, printing, and material-handling equipment.

The power section accepts a three-phase input of 3x 230 V AC (+10%/-15%), and the converter can deliver a rated phase current of 50 A to the motor windings. When loaded to that current the supply must furnish up to 6 kVA; designers size fuses and wiring for this demand. A maximum internal dissipation of 500 W is removed by the cooling method specified as Air (Natural Convection), so unobstructed airflow around the housing is required. The analog monitor port supports a 4 mA load for external meters, and the embedded relay permits switching of 230 V/6 A AC or 24 V/10 A DC circuits for status signaling without additional interface modules.

Dynamic braking hardware absorbs returned energy; the bleeder handles a continuous 0.25 kW and may dissipate short bursts up to 10 kW, while the capacitor bank stores at most 5 kWs before the resistor is activated. The drive enclosure meets the IP65 protection category, so dust-tight construction and sealed connectors allow mounting directly on moving machinery. Control electronics are powered through auxiliary rails that supply 100 mA at +24 V for external sensors and 100 mA at +15 V for measuring circuits. The command interface outputs a differential analog reference of ±10 V for speed or torque feedback to supervisory devices, completing the signal set without repeating earlier parameters.
