Product Description:
The DDC01.1-K050A-RS24-03-FW is a closed-loop servo drive manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. It interfaces between a three-phase mains supply and a synchronous servomotor, modulating current and voltage to maintain commanded torque and speed in automated machinery. A built-in transistor bleeder dissipates regenerative energy so that external braking resistors are not required in most mid-power positioning tasks.
This drive accepts a nominal input of 3x 230 V AC with a tolerance of +10 %/-15 %. During continuous operation it delivers a phase-averaged current of 25 A, while acceleration or deceleration events can draw up to 50 A on the DC link for 100 s. The internal bleeder handles 0.25 kW continuously and rises to 10 kW for short bursts, allowing the unit to absorb as much as 5 kWs of regenerated energy without external hardware. Switching devices are driven at a carrier of 8 kHz, which reduces motor acoustic noise and current ripple. Power loss at maximum load is 500 W, so cabinet ventilation must remove this heat. For the supply side, the maximum apparent power is 6 kVA. Short-term current capability matches the 50 A peak figure, and these current limits are set to protect semiconductors from over-temperature.
The housing weighs 21 kg and carries an environmental rating of IP65, enabling direct mounting on a machine frame without a separate enclosure. Operation is permitted up to +55 °C ambient with output derating beyond that point, at elevations not exceeding 1000 m. The control electronics tolerate relative humidity to 95 % non-condensing and storage temperatures up to +85 °C. When loaded to specification, the supply infrastructure must deliver 6 kVA while the bleeder and PWM section manage excess energy and switching transients to maintain system stability.
