Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DDC01.1-F100A-DS60-00-FW drive controller as part of the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The unit converts three-phase mains power into regulated motor voltage and current so that synchronous axes in packaging lines, machine tools, and handling gantries follow precise motion profiles. A SERCOS command module enables deterministic fiber-optic communication with higher-level control systems, while digital servo feedback from the motor closes the speed and position loops inside the drive. Its IP65 housing and liquid cooling allow installation directly on the machine without additional enclosures.

The power section accepts a supply of 3x 230 V (+10/-15%) at industrial grids running on 50/60 Hz. Internally, a pulse-width-modulation stage switching at 4 kHz shapes the output waveform delivered to the motor windings. Continuous armature demand is limited to 35 A, whereas transient acceleration can draw up to 100 A before current limiting intervenes. A short-term S6-100 s capability of 70 A bridges intermediate duty cycles, and the rated current of the inverter section equals 100 A for prolonged full-load operation. Motion commands arrive through the integrated SERCOS interface, and encoder data is processed as digital servo feedback for closed-loop accuracy. Hardware revision identifiers list the device as Series 1 and Version 1, and the specified noise emission category covers machines in the 100 A to 200 A range.

Excess kinetic energy returning from decelerating loads is dissipated by a bleeder resistor that handles 0.25 kW continuously and up to 20 kW in short bursts, while the intermediate circuit can absorb a maximum of 10 kWs before the brake chopper activates. Liquid cooling maintains component temperature so the drive can remain in ambient air up to +55 °C; storage is permitted to +85 °C when the equipment is powered down. The IP65 enclosure resists dust and low-pressure water jets, and liquid passages carry heat to an external exchanger.
