Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the DDC01.1-F100A-DS60-00-FW drive controller as part of the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. The unit converts three-phase mains power into regulated motor voltage and current so that synchronous axes in packaging lines, machine tools, and handling gantries follow precise motion profiles. A SERCOS command module enables deterministic fiber-optic communication with higher-level control systems, while digital servo feedback from the motor closes the speed and position loops inside the drive. Excess kinetic energy returning from decelerating loads is dissipated by a bleeder resistor that handles 0.25 kW continuously and up to 20 kW in short bursts, while the intermediate circuit can absorb a maximum of 10 kWs before the brake chopper activates. Liquid cooling maintains component temperature so the drive can remain in ambient air up to +55 °C; storage is permitted to +85 °C when the equipment is powered down. The IP65 enclosure resists dust and low-pressure water jets, and liquid passages carry heat to an external exchanger.
