The DDC01.1-F050B-DL45-01-FW is a closed-loop servo drive built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the DDC Digital Intelligent Servo Drives series. As a drive controller, it supplies regulated power to matched motors while monitoring feedback to maintain commanded torque, velocity, and position in automated machinery. This unit integrates the power stage, bleeder circuitry, and control logic in a single enclosure so machine builders can mount it directly on equipment without a separate cabinet.

The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 3x 230 V AC (+10%/-15%) and synchronizes its internal regulators to the mains at 50/60 Hz. Under continuous duty it delivers 25 A of average output current, while transistor switching at 8 kHz minimizes current ripple in the motor windings. Regenerative energy is routed to an internal bleeder resistor that dissipates 0.25 kW continuously and up to 10 kW during dynamic deceleration; this network can absorb as much as 5 kWs before thermal limits are reached. The short-term current capability is 50 A for an S6-100 s duty cycle, and identical 50 A peaks are available for instantaneous load steps, giving the axis headroom for rapid indexing or shock loads.

For field deployment, the housing carries a IP65 rating that seals out dust and low-pressure water jets, permitting direct mounting on moving gantries or near process zones. Reliable operation is specified up to a maximum ambient of +55 C, and stable performance is maintained to an installation height of 1000 m without derating. The electronics tolerate storage temperatures as high as +85 C, allowing the drive to be shipped or warehoused in non-climate-controlled conditions. When energized, the internal bleeder and current margins ensure that regenerated power and peak motor demands are handled without external braking resistors or oversizing the upstream supply.
