CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-L3-EM-NN-NW is a control unit for motor controllers. Specifically, it is a component of Bosch IndraDrive controllers. The control unit is an independent component that is plugged into a power section. As per standard practice, the drive controller is supplied by Bosch as a complete device that includes the control unit. However, control units and power sections can also be ordered as separate items. To prevent equipment damage, exposed conductive parts that can come in contact with the control unit must be discharged via grounding. Examples of exposed conductive parts include the human body (ground connection by touching a conductive, grounded object and parts or tools (these should be placed on a conductive support). The control units must only be stored or transported inside conductive packaging. The products (control units and other components) have been designed for use in an industrial environment.

They should only be used in the proper way. If they are not used in the proper way, situations resulting in property/equipment damage and injury can occur. Bosch has provided four optional modules on the CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-L3-EM-NN-NW control unit, including a safety module with safe torque off support, one encoder emulation module, one Multi-Ethernet module, and one multi-encoder interface module. The firmware package has to be simultaneously ordered for the control unit. A control panel is required for control unit configuration. However, a control panel is not supplied with the unit. The control unit cools via convection cooling. It required 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature and 0 to 1000 meters installation site elevation. Operation outside these limits leads to de-rated performance, and in extreme cases can lead to equipment malfunction and failure.
