The CSH02.1B-CC-EC-ET-S5-EC-NN-FW is a CSH control section model in the Bosch Rexroth ADVANCED range. It is designed to support connection to multiple Ethernet-based field bus systems, some of which are EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, sercos III, and PROFINET IO. This connection is facilitated by its Multi-Ethernet communication module, a communication option suitable for the seamless integration of devices and systems. Another module for communication in the CSH model is its sercos III master, having connection points that match the IEEE 802.3 standard. To ensure rapid fault identification and resolution, LEDs are connected to these modules. Users can detect faults and learn the system’s operating status via the colors and flashing patterns of these LEDs.

There are two multi-encoder interfaces that support the connection of various encoders on the CSH02.1B-CC-EC-ET-S5-EC-NN-FW. The compatible encoders for the 15-pole interfaces include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the MSM motor encoder, and the MSK motor encoder. They have supply voltages of 5V and 12V. This CSH model is also equipped with a Safe Motion module to protect users from accidents and the machine from damage. Some safety functions provided by this module are safe communication, safe braking and holding system, safe homing procedure, and safe direction.
