Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive drive system is designed to help users solve automation challenges easily, cost-efficiently and safely. It comprises servo motors, gearboxes, drive controllers, power units, etc. Its drive controllers have two essential parts: the control section and the power section. Control sections in the CSH series are single-axis types for high-performance requirements.

The CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-NNN-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW is a single-axis control section in the CSH series of the ADVANCED range by Bosch Rexroth. To ensure user safety, it is equipped with Safe Torque Off (STO) per category 3 PL e/SIL 3. These internationally recognized safety standards mean the safety module has been designed, verified, and validated to achieve impressive reliability and performance. It prevents any unintentional movement of the machine, ensuring personnel safety and minimizing the risk of accidents and injuries. The PROFIBUS communication module in the configurable CSH model aids its smooth interaction with other components of the drive system. It allows the cyclical exchange of specified and actual values, including status signals and diagnostic messages, with the control system.

Using the standard control panel in the CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-NNN-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW, users can view operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. It can also be used to establish the position data reference, start the basic load defaults procedure, and set the analog outputs. There is a standard encoder evaluation interface in the control section for connecting encoders with a supply voltage of 12V.
