Product Description

Bosch Rexroth invests in high-quality materials and advanced technology for the design of its automation products. Its CSH control sections are components of the IndraDrive drive controllers built to meet high performance demands. They are used in food processing and packaging machines, handling and mounting systems, and machine tools.

The CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is one of the Design-3 CSH control sections in the IndraDrive system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It communicates efficiently with other components of this system via its PROFIBUS communication module. This module ensures rapid, real-time data transfer with high accuracy and low latency, enabling the smooth coordination and control of motion and automation tasks. The control section also uses a cross communication module for interaction with the system components. Both communication modules work with LEDs that provide information on their operating states, making them useful for fault identification and resolution. Firmware use is supported with the CSH model, but this should be ordered separately.

Safe Motion is the safety technology module of the CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW. It provides different application-related safety functions, such as safe maximum speed, safe direction, safely-monitored position, and safely-limited increment. The control section has an encoder emulation interface for emulating absolute value and incremental encoder signals. These signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit, and external power supply is not necessary. Encoders with a supply voltage of 12V can be connected to the configurable single-axis CSH control section via its standard encoder evaluation interface. These include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface.
