Bosch Rexroth’s versatility is impressive as its solutions can be adapted across various industries and applications. The drive controllers in its IndraDrive system have two essential components: the control section and the power section. These CSH control sections are suitable for handling and mounting systems and machine tools.

The CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a CSH control section with the PROFIBUS communication module. This globally recognized communication protocol permits high-speed data exchange with other components of the system. It is suitable for demanding industrial areas and facilitates the easy integration of the control section with other devices. The CSH model also has a cross communication module for seamless communication, meeting the IEEE 802.3 standard. Its standard encoder evaluation interface is compatible with encoders with a supply voltage of 12V. These include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the MSK motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track.

Commissioning the CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is simplified with its user-friendly standard control panel. Its single-line display shows its operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. It also has four operating keys for navigating its functions and triggering simple commands. The control panel can be used to set the drive address, start the basic load defaults procedure, and access the error memory. This CSH control section’s encoder emulation interface permits the emulation of absolute value and incremental encoder signals galvanically isolated from the circuit. It can be operated at switching frequencies of 2 kHz, 4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz, and 16 kHz. Firmware can be used with the configurable control section, but this must be ordered separately.
