Product Description

Bosch Rexroth’s CSH control section family belongs in its ADVANCED range. The control sections are essential components of the IndraDrive drive controller, plugged into the power section. They are commonly used in machine tools, handling and mounting systems, food processing and packaging machines, and printing and paper processing machines.

The CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW is a configurable single-axis control section in the CSH series in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive system. Its interfaces include a standard encoder evaluation interface and an encoder emulation interface. The standard encoder evaluation interface accommodates encoders with a supply voltage of 12V like the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track. Absolute value and incremental encoder signals are emulated via the control section’s encoder emulation interface. These signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit. The control section allows the use of firmware, which is ordered separately.

For communication, the CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW uses its PROFIBUS and cross communication modules. PROFIBUS is a popular industrial communication protocol enabling real-time communication between different components of the drive system. It ensures the rapid transfer of data between system components with high accuracy and low latency. The cross communication module is used as a master and corresponds to the IEEE 802.3 standard. Like other products of category C3 per IEC 61800‑3, the control section is best suited for industrial areas. Its operation in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas can lead to high-frequency interference. Consequently, additional measures of radio interference suppression should be adopted. The control section comes equipped with a standard control panel for commissioning.
