CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-ENS-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth control section. It supports two encoder modules. These encoder modules are designed for use with encoders that operate at 12 Volts such as the encoder system on IndraDyn S motors, sin-cos encoders with Hiperface support, sin-cos encoders with EnDat 2.1 interface, sin-cos encoders with reference track, and 5V-TTL square-ware encoders with reference track. The CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-ENS-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW also supports a cross-communication module. This module features two Ethernet interfaces and is IEEE 802.3 compliant. Operators can use 100 meter Cat-5e cables to connect the drive system to higher-level units. The minimum bend radius for long cables with flexible installation is 48.75 millimeters. The minimum bend radius for long cables with permanent installation is 32.50 millimeters. Operators can also use short cables for shorter cable runs.

A safety module is also installed on the control section. This safety module supports safe motion, which allows different application-related safety functions, such as safe door locking, safe diagnostic outputs, safe inputs/outputs, safe parking axis, single-axis acknowledgment and much more. The CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-ENS-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is compatible with a standard control panel with a single-line display. Standard control panels for CSH control section are not suited for hot plug. They must have been plugged in when the drive controller is switched on so that they can be recognized. Firmware for the control section is available separately. A firmware type plate attached to the unit allows identification of the installed firmware version. A control section type plate attached to the unit allows identification of the control section and optional modules. Operators must verify information listed on these type plates at the time of equipment delivery. Only qualified personnel should install the CSH01.3C-PB-ENS-ENS-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW and associated accessories and equipment.
