Product Description

Control units in the ADVANCED range by Bosch Rexroth meet high performance and flexibility demands. The CSH control sections are components of the IndraDrive drive system plugged into the power sections of the drive controllers. These products are used in machine tools and handling and mounting equipment.

The CSH01.3C-ET-ENS-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section in the CSH series of Bosch Rexroth’s ADVANCED family of control sections. It is designed for use in industrial environments as it is a product of category C3 according to IEC 61800‑3. This means its operation in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas may lead to the generation of high-frequency interference. To ensure its safe operation in these industrial areas, its connection points are equipped with spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. These make the connections secure and resistant to vibration. The control section features a standard control panel with a single-line display where operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings are shown.

Encoders with a supply voltage of 12V can be connected to the CSH01.3C-ET-ENS-MEM-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW via its standard encoder evaluation interface. These include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the MSK motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The control section also has an encoder emulation interface for evaluating absolute value and incremental encoder signals. These signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit board and further evaluated by control units. There is also a Multi-Ethernet module in the configurable CSH control section to aid the integration of its drive controller in several Ethernet field bus systems, such as ProfiNet, SERCOS III, and EtherCAT.
