Product Description

Bosch Rexroth has a comprehensive product portfolio with ultra-efficient drive and motion control units. Its IndraDrive platform has components like servo motors, gearboxes, drive controllers, etc. One of the essential parts of this drive controller is the CSH control section, plugged into the power section.

The CSH01.2C-SE-ENS-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable model of the ADVANCED control sections in Bosch Rexroth’s CSH series. It is a single-axis Design-2 type, equipped with a standard encoder evaluation interface, built for encoders with a supply voltage of 12V. Examples of these encoders are the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, and the MSK motor encoder. The control section’s communication modules are SERCOS and a cross communication module. Its SERCOS module requires a short cycle time for the transfer of all target and actual values to the control system and vice versa. It also guarantees the seamless synchronization of all drives. The cross communication module meets the demands of the IEEE 802.3 standard.

2 kHz, 4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz, and 16 kHz are the permitted switching frequencies for the operation of the CSH01.2C-SE-ENS-NNN-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW. Its connection points have spring terminals and screw terminal blocks, providing vibration-resistant connections. The standard control panel in the CSH model supports a wide range of functions. These include accessing the error memory, starting the basic load defaults procedure, and setting the analog outputs. It can also be used to set the transmission power of the SERCOS module and its field bus transmission rate. Firmware can be used with the control section, but it must be ordered separately.
