Product Description

The Bosch CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD2-S2-S-NN-FW is a modular control section. Slots on the unit allow installation of several optional modules. The unit is equipped with an encoder module, an analog I/O module, a digital I/O module and a safety module. The safety module supports safe motion. Other options for the safety module include starting lockout, safety technology I/O, and safe torque off. The digital I/O extension module adds 32 I/O channels and supports SSI encoder interface. An SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) encoder interface is a communication protocol used to transmit position or velocity data from an absolute encoder to a receiving device. The interface is synchronous, meaning that data is transmitted using a clock signal that is synchronized between the encoder and the receiving device. Depending on requirements, the interface can transmit data in either single-ended or differential mode.

The digital input channels are divided into 2 input groups with 8 inputs each and separate supply voltage for each group. The digital output channels are divided into 4 output groups with 4 outputs each and separate supply voltage for each group. The digital inputs/output are galvanically isolated from the control section. The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD2-S2-S-NN-FW mounts onto a power section. Its power consumption is 7.5 Watts. The optional modules draw additional power form the power section. Bosch has designed the control section of vertical mounting. It cools via convection cooling and requires 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature. Master communication on the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD2-S2-S-NN-FW is SERCOS. Operators can select other master communication interfaces to match application requirements. Bosch does not accept liability for damage and injuries cause by improper use of its products.
