CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is a modular control section. It is a component of IndraDrive controllers from Bosch. The control section combines with a power section to form a fully assembled controller. Drive controllers have to be programmed before commissioning to make it possible for the motor to execute the specific functions of an application. Drive controllers of the Bosch IndraDrive product line have been developed for use in single- and multi-axis drive and control tasks. To ensure application-specific use of drive controllers, device types of different drive power and different interfaces are available. Bosch usually supplies assembled controllers. In certain circumstances, Bosch can supply controller components as separate items. If a control section is supplied as a separate item, a trained technician must plug it into a compatible power section. Controller assembly or disassembly by untrained personnel can lead to equipment damage.

A control section and corresponding power section must not be assembled or disassembled more than 20 times. Only approved accessories should be used with Bosch industrial devices. Furthermore, Bosch devices should only be sued for approved applications and under the permitted ambient conditions. The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW supports several features. It is equipped with SERCOS master communication. Several other options for master communication are available, including CANopen, parallel interface, SERCOS III, Profibus, MultiEthernet and CANopen/DeviceNet. An encoder HSF/RSF module is also installed on the control section. A third optional module is a digital I/O extension module, that adds 12 digital 24 Volt input and 8 digital 24 Volt outputs. The slot on the control section that is designated for a safety module is vacant. Another vacant slot on the CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW can accommodate an additional plug in module.
