The Bosch Rexroth CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is a digital control section for IndraDrive controllers. Each controller consists of two essential components which are the control section and a power section. The power section provides 24 Volts DC supply for the control section and modules that are installed on it. Each advanced control section such as the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW has a total of four slots for plug in modules. Three slots are for functional plug in modules and one slot is for a safety module. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW comes with three pre-installed modules: two are functions modules and the third one is a safety module. The safety module installed on the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW supports safety technology I/O. This module enables various safety functions including safety related standstill and safety related direction of motion.

The two functional modules installed on the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW IndraDyn encoder modules that support Hiperface. One slot for functions modules on the control section is vacant and can be used for any compatible plug in module. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW comes with Profibus master communication. The unit is configurable and works with a standard control panel. Other types of control panels cannot be used with the device. All the supported functions are dependent on the installed firmware. The control section firmware is ordered separately. A type plate attached to the unit lists important information such as type code, firmware type code and serial number. This type plate allows unit identification and should be checked at the time of equipment delivery. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is usually delivered as part of a complete controller. Power consumption of the device is 7.5 Watts. The installed modules draw additional power from the power section. The control section is designed for vertical mounting.
