One of Bosch Rexroth’s most advanced creations is the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. It is a highly efficient drive system for solving multiple automation challenges and is scalable in power and functionality. Its components include synchronous and asynchronous servo motors and gearboxes, converters, inverters, and control units. The CSH01 is a family of single-axis control sections in the ADVANCED control section range that form parts of drive controllers in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system.

The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is an ADVANCED single-axis control section in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth. One of its features is the internationally-recognized PROFIBUS communication module. This fieldbus system allows communication with high-level machine control systems. It also allows the cyclical exchange of all the specified and actual values with the bus users. Another feature of this control section model is its standard encoder evaluation interface. It enhances the device’s connectivity by supporting the connection of a wide range of encoder systems. Examples of these encoder systems are those of the MSK IndraDyn S motors and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track.

As a product of category C3 according to IEC 61800‑3, the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW should ideally be used in industrial areas only. This is because its operation in a public low-voltage mains like those found in residential areas will lead to the generation of high-frequency interference. A standard control panel is present on this configurable control section and it performs functions like setting the drive address and visiting the error memory.
