The control sections of the CSH01 series are components of the drive controllers in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, designed for high-performance operations. The drive controllers are used to control electric motors. Their control sections are plugged into the power sections and can be ordered as separate components or as a whole with the drive controller. They are commonly used in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, handling and mounting systems, and packaging and food machines.

The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is an ADVANCED control section in the Bosch Rexroth CSH01 series. It is a configurable Version 1 model of the CSH01 control section with the conventional PROFIBUS master communication module. PROFIBUS has been successfully used in various automation fields. It ensures the convenient startup of the control section with the IndraWorks engineering software, a user-friendly tool used for all Rexroth electrical control and drive systems. This CSH01 control section also features an interface for Resolver and HSF Encoder Evaluation. The interface supports encoder systems with a supply voltage of DC 8V or AC 18.2V peak-peak.

With its encoder emulation interface, the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW can process emulated absolute value and incremental encoder signals, which are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. The control section is also equipped with a standard control panel with four prominent keys and a single-line display. It has a typical inrush current of 4A and a maximum pulse width of 100ms. Based on the IEC 61800‑3 standard, it is a product of category C3; hence, it is recommended to be used in industrial areas. When it is used in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas, radio interference suppression filters should be used.
