The Bosch CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section. It is suited to single-axis applications. The unit plugs into a power section and the combination of the two devices forms an IndraDrive drive controller. The power section supplies 24 Volts DC power to the control section and to the modules that are installed on the control section. If supplied separately, the two devices have to be assembled manually. To protect against hardware damage, Bosch has set a limit on the number of times that a control section and power section can be assembled or disassembled: this limit is set to 20. Furthermore only technical personnel that have been trained for this exercise should assemble a power section and a control section. The power consumption of the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is 7.5 Watts.

The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is available with three optional modules. two of these are functional modules and one is a safety module. The functional modules are encoder HSF/RSF and cross-communication drive (CCD). The safety module on the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW enables safety technology I/O. The encoder HSF/RSF module allows use of the controller with motors equipped with resolver feedback or digital servo feedback. The CCD module can be used for drive interconnection with other control units with CCD interfaces. The CCD interfaces supports IEEE 802.3 standard and allows data transmission at 100 Mbps data rate. Ethernet cables with lengths of up to 100 meters can be used with the CCD interface. Four different master communication interface options can be ordered for CSH device. the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW supports Profibus. A standard control panel can be used for configuration of the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW. The control panel includes a display and a four-button keypad. All installation and maintenance related activities should be performed by trained personnel.
