Bosch Rexroth is a designer and manufacturer of a wide array of intelligent drive and motion control products suitable for different kinds of drive requirements. These include servo motors, drive controllers, gearboxes, mains filters, and other drive accessories. Some of these components make up whole drive systems like the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. There are drive controllers in this system made up of power and control sections, with the control sections plugged into the power sections. The CSH01 is a series of control sections in the system designed for the HMS, HCS02, and HCS03 drive controllers.

The CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-MA1-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW is a configurable CSH01 control section model that features an Encoder HSF/RSF interface. This interface supports encoder systems whose supply voltage ratings are DC 8 V or AC 18.2 V peak-peak. Some of these encoder systems are the digital servo feedback encoder interface (HSF for MHD motors) and the resolver for MKD motors. The control section also features an analog I/O extension for the expansion of the integrated digital and analog inputs and outputs in it. There is no communication bus module in the device.

Application-related safety functions like safety-related drive interlock, safety-related reduced speed, and more can be achieved with the CSH01.1C-NN-EN1-MA1-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW thanks to its safety technology I/O module. It can also be easily configured using a standard control panel with a single-line display. This control panel performs many other functions, including running error diagnostics, setting the drive address, and determining the position data reference. This control section model can be used with firmware which can be tailored to user-specific applications, but they must be ordered as separate components.
