The Bosch CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a CSH series control section. Three slots are provided on the front panel of the device for optional plug-in modules. The optional modules include encoder HSF/RSF, encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface, encoder with Hiperface interface, analog I/O extension, digital I/O extension and encoder emulation. The option 1 slot on the control section is equipped with an encoder module that has an EnDat 2.1 interface. The remaining two slots are not equipped with modules. The CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW also has one slot for a safety option which is also not equipped with a module. Four different safety options are supported including starting lockout, safe torque off, safety technology I/O and safe motion. The available communication options for CSH devices include Profibus, SERCOS, CANopen/DeviceNet and MultiEthernet. The CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is equipped with a MultiEthernet module.

The CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section with a standard control panel. The firmware for the device needs to be ordered separately. The CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a primary component of IndraDyn controllers and mounts on a compatible power section. The number of times that a control section is allowed to be mounted/dismounted is limited to 20. This is because both the control section and the power section can get damaged due to excessive mounting/dismounting. Moreover the mounting/dismounting should only be performed by those who have been trained by Bosch for this exercise. Bosch will not accept any liability for equipment damage that results due to handling by untrained personnel. Only spare parts that are approved by Bosch are allowed to be used. Use of substandard spare parts and accessories can adversely affect control section performance. The CSH01.1C-ET-EN2-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW mounts vertically and measures 241 x 49.5 x 103 millimeters.
