The Bosch Rexroth CSH01.1C-CO-EN2-NNN-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section for IndraDrive drives.  It is one of the two main components of the drives, with the other component being a power section. The control section for the drive is plugged into the power section. Usually the drive is supplied by Bosch as an assembled unit. In some exceptional cases, the control section can be delivered separately. If the control section is delivered separately, then only trained personnel should install it. For any particular drive controller, the control section should not be mounted and dismounted more than 20 times. The CSH01.1C-CO-EN2-NNN-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW control section is configurable. The master communication interface on the unit is CANopen/DevicNet. The control section comes with a standard control panel. The firmware for the drive controller has to be ordered separately.

The CSH01.1C-CO-EN2-NNN-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW supports safety technology I/O. An encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface is also available. Drive controllers with the CSH01.1C-CO-EN2-NNN-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW control section can be used for applications such as printing machines, paper machines, machine tools and mounting systems. A type plate on the control section lists the type, part number, serial number and bar code. This information helps to identify the equipment and is also useful at the time of ordering replacement parts and accessories. The CSH01.1C-CO-EN2-NNN-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW does not support comfort control panel CVP01.2. One RS-232 serial interface is available on the control section. This interface is required for programming, parameterization and diagnosis during commissioning and servicing. The current control cycle times supports are 62.5 microseconds and 125 microseconds. The switching frequencies supported by the control section range from 2 to 16 kilohertz. The control section and associated devices should only be maintained by trained personnel.
