Product Description

The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EP-SB-EC-NN-FW control section uses a Safe Motion Bus interface for its safety technology. This Bosch Rexroth basic section executes its safety-related functions through the communications module and has no separate connection point. The product supports operation with a HAP01.1N standard control panel. The control panel features a single-line display and four keys that help in triggering simple commands and displaying extended diagnoses. It can also be used as a programming module. The section supports the use of the manufacturer’s MPx-18VRS firmware or higher. The product comes with three optional slots. Its MultiEthernet module is capable of incorporating SERCOS III and EtherCAT interfaces.

The device features five digital inputs/outputs with an arbitrary setting. The unit has two current control cycle times of 62.5µs and 125µs. It has two multi-encoder interfaces. The screw terminal blocks at the connection points of the control section must be used with wire ends featuring ferrules. These connections have to be assembled taking care to ensure that all the strands are enclosed in the funnel of its terminal connector. The device encompasses components made of steel, copper, aluminum and synthetic materials. The unit comprises a power consumption of 17W at 24VDC. It is possible to transport the control section to an address in any country.

The section has connection points with spring terminals that must be wired with ends having no ferrules. These connections should be done with stranded wires as far as possible. The control panel in the product does not support hot plug operation. Its display highlights pending warnings and operating states. The X38 connecting point of this device is used to connect analog inputs and outputs with 24AWG to 16AWG connection cables featuring standard wires. The MultiEthernet module in the unit has one multicolor diagnostic LED and two unicolor port LEDs. This section is delivered with a warranty period of one year.
