The Bosch Rexroth CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW is a basic universal control section. The unit is configurable and is designed for single-axis control applications. IndraDrive controllers with the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW as the control section are suited to a wide range of applications such as printing and paper processing machines, food machines, packaging machines and machine tools. The control section is a separate component that mounts onto a power section. As a standard the drive controllers are provided ex works as assembled units. In exceptional cases the control sections can be provided separately. If the control section is provided separately, only personnel trained by Bosch for mounting / dismounting them should mount them on power sections. Control sections are sensitive to ESD and exposed conductive parts that may come into contact should be discharged via grounding.

For a drive controller the control section should not be mounted or dismounted more than 20 times. The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW has two slots for optional modules and a slot for a safety module. The optional modules installed on the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW include an IndraDyn encoder with Hiperface and an analog I/O extension module. The safety module installed on the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW enables starting lockout. The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW works only with a standard control panel and not with a comfort control panel. Master communication on the device is SERCOS which is a serial protocol for real-time data transfer. SERCOS uses fiber optic cables that are connected in ring topology for data transmission. The ring topology allows data communication in the event of a single fiber cut or a single node failure. Data rates supported by SERCOS include 2 and 4 Mbps. Cycle update rates for SERCOS can be as low as 62.5 microseconds. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
