The Bosch CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section. It is developed for drive controllers that are from the IndraDrive product line. It has three slots for optional modules. Two slots are for functional modules and one slot is for a safety module. The safety module slot on the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW does not contain a module and can be used to accommodate any safety module from a range of available options that include safe torque off and safe motion. The other two slots feature an encoder IndraDyn module and an analog I/O extension module respectively. Master communication interface on the CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a parallel interface. Other options for the master communication interface are Profibus, SERCOS and SERCOS III. The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW can be configured to operate at 2 / 4/  8 kilohertz switching frequencies.

The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW supports only one current control cycle time that is 125 microseconds. The velocity control cycle time options are 250 microseconds and 500 microseconds. The position control cycle time options are 500 microseconds and 1000 microseconds. The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW belongs to the category of basic universal control sections and is suited to single axis applications. It can only be used with a standard control panel. The firmware has to be ordered separately and should support the features that are required for the specific application. The control section has been designed for use in industrial environments and may only be used in the appropriate manner. If it is not used in the appropriate manner, then situations resulting in property damage and personal injury can occur. Personnel working on the device should read and understand all relevant installation and safety instructions. If a unit is found to be faulty the it should not be put into operation.
