The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It plugs into a compatible power module to regulate a single servo axis while exchanging diagnostic and parameter data with the plant control network. Within an automation cell, the unit supplies the closed-loop processing, sequencing, and field I/O needed to coordinate motors, sensors, and actuators. Signal conditioning for incremental and absolute encoders is already on board, allowing real-time position feedback to reach the drive without external interface cards. This integration supports compact cabinet layouts in conveyor, packaging, and machining equipment.

The module’s base 24 V rail draws only 8 W, which helps limit standby power demand. Command data travel through the parallel communication interface that mates directly with Rexroth inverter backplanes. An installation depth of 103 mm lets the unit fit in shallow cabinets while still leaving room for cooling airflow. Two transistorized digital outputs are rated at 24 V, 0.5 A, making them suitable for status lamps or small relays. The universal encoder port accepts IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, 1 Vpp, and TTL formats, and it delivers sensor power of DC 11.6 V, 300 mA so an external supply is not required. The MA1 analog expansion resources are powered from an auxiliary bus that tolerates DC 19–30 V at up to 1.1 A. Both directions share a span of ±10 V, allowing the drive to exchange torque, speed, or process setpoints with external controllers.
