The CSB01.1C-PB-ENS-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is a controller option card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. Installed in a compatible power section, it governs torque, speed, and position loops for electric drives used in industrial automation. The card closes the inner current loop locally while exchanging real-time command and status data with supervisory PLCs, which helps coordinated axes respond consistently during changing load conditions. It is intended for cabinet installation where standardized fieldbus and feedback connections support orderly wiring and straightforward service access.

The motion loop updates every 125 µs, allowing rapid current correction when mechanical load varies. To support this fast control, the power stage can chop at up to 8 kHz, which helps reduce audible noise and torque ripple during operation. A dedicated hardware channel implements Safe Torque Off, removing motor energy without relying on software action. Plant integration is handled over PROFIBUS, and the fieldbus wiring terminates on a D-Sub 9-Pin Female connector. For local diagnostics, loading, and parameter backup, a separate RS232 serial interface is provided.

Two digital outputs can drive loads up to 0.5 A, allowing the controller to switch contactors or signal lamps directly. The encoder interface supplies 11.6 VDC at up to 300 mA, supporting IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, or TTL feedback devices selected through parameters. A form 1 normally open relay rated for 1 A at 24 VDC provides isolated ready or fault signaling to external circuits.
