The card closes the inner current loop locally while exchanging real-time command and status data with supervisory PLCs, which helps coordinated axes respond consistently during changing load conditions. It is intended for cabinet installation where standardized fieldbus and feedback connections support orderly wiring and straightforward service access.
The motion loop updates every 125 µs, allowing rapid current correction when mechanical load varies. To support this fast control, the power stage can chop at up to 8 kHz, which helps reduce audible noise and torque ripple during operation. A dedicated hardware channel implements Safe Torque Off, removing motor energy without relying on software action.
