For the improvement of universal factory automation practices, Bosch Rexroth has developed a broad class of safe and highly flexible products. These products can be adopted for use in multiple industries, providing the same top-notch results. They include servo motors, gearboxes, frequency converters and more. Control sections in the CSB02.5 family are Bosch Rexroth control sections designed for the HMU05 universal inverter. They are single-axis control sections that can easily be combined with other drive system units for such applications as machine tools, food processing and packaging machines, paper processing and printing machines, and handling and mounting systems.
The CSB02.5B-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-NN-NW BASIC control section model syncs with other parts of the system using an integrated Multi-Ethernet communication module. This allows its drive controller to be compatible with other Ethernet field bus systems such as Sercos III, EtherCAT, PROFINET IO, and EtherNet/IP. It features a Multi-encoder interface and another interface for PROFIBUS. Safe Torque Off (STO) is available on this device to promote user safety during operation. Application-specific operation of the drive controller with this control section is supported, provided it is programmed correctly before commissioning.
Due to the compact size of the CSB02.5B-ET-EC-PB-L3-NN-NN-NW, its mounting and installation with other components of the drive system is highly simplified with effective space optimization. It can also be mounted and dismounted multiple times but this should not be done more than 20 times to prevent damage to the device. Based on IEC 61800-3 standards, it is categorized as a C3 product, indicating that it is best suited for use in industrial areas because of the occurrence of radio interference. It also requires the use of suitable line filters in the system. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
