The CSB02.5B-ET-EC-PB-NN-EM-NN-NW is a control section in this series.
The CSB02.5B-ET-EC-PB-NN-EM-NN-NW is compatible with Bosch Rexroth’s HMU05 power section. Its master communication system is Multi-Ethernet, enabling the drive controller to be integrated in Sercos III, EtherCAT, PROFINET IO, and EtherNet/IP Ethernet field bus systems. It features a multi-encoder interface that supports encoders like the sin-cos encoder 1Vpp with Hiperface interface, the sin-cos encoder 1Vpp with EnDat 2.1 interface, combined encoder for SSI, and the sin-cos encoder 1Vpp with reference track. Other interfaces on the device include one for a PROFIBUS module and encoder emulation.
The connection points at the CSB02.5B-ET-EC-PB-NN-EM-NN-NW feature spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. The control section does not support the use of firmware. It is also not suitable for operation under water and extremely high temperatures. The drive system where it is used must be connected to suitable line filters during operation to ensure radio interference suppression. It should also be operated in industrial areas only as it can lead to the development of high frequency interference when used in public low-voltage networks supplying residential areas with power.
