Components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system are intelligently chosen and combined to produce a safe and cost-efficient drive system for different kinds of automation applications. The CSB02 series is a range of control sections in this drive system, designed for single-axis applications. They are found plugged into the power sections of their drive controllers and are ideal for applications like handling and mounting systems, printing and paper processing machines, machine tools, and food processing and packaging machines.
The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-PB-S5-NN-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth control section in the CSB02 series. It is a Design 1 model with an extended scope interface equipment and a Multi-Ethernet communication module. Its communication module makes it possible for it to interact with high-level control systems and permits the integration of the drive controller with Ethernet-based communication protocols. They include sercos III, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, and EtherCAT. One of the interfaces in the control section is the Multi-encoder interface. It is so named because it supports the connection of various encoders with supply voltage values of 5V and 12V. Examples of such encoders are the encoder systems of the MSM and MSK servo motors, the 5V-TTL square wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface interface.
There is also a PROFIBUS interface on the CSB02.1B-ET-EC-PB-S5-NN-NN-FW, and it is equipped with a Safe Motion module on its safety technology axis. The operation of this control section at varying pulse modulation frequencies is possible for different output values. It has a maximum inrush current value of 5A and a maximum pulse width of 1ms. Firmware can be used with it, but it must be ordered separately. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
