The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-PB-S4-EC-NN-AW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CSB Drive Controllers series. Installed between a power section and higher-level automation, it processes encoder feedback, executes motion commands, and handles network traffic so that multiple servo axes run in step with plant sequencing. By combining communication ports, safety circuitry, and local I/O inside one enclosure, it streamlines cabinet layouts in assembly, handling, and packaging equipment.

This controller draws its logic supply from a DC 24 V line, and the internal electronics dissipate only 17 W, reducing heat inside tight enclosures. Two analog outputs can be configured for either a current span of 0 to +20 mA or a voltage span of −10 to +10 V, allowing direct setpoint delivery to proportional valves or legacy inverters. Motion and diagnostic data move through the embedded Multi-Ethernet interface, which supports 100Base-TX signaling, and are accessed through an ET port that uses an RJ-45, 8-pin connector. The module limits inrush to less than 5 A during startup, accepts two independent encoder links for dual-loop control, and provides a 1 ms maximum pulse width on its fast outputs so that tight velocity or position windows can be enforced.
