Position accuracy is enhanced by Multi-Encoder evaluation, which simultaneously processes incremental, absolute, and sine-cosine feedback. Each encoder supply delivers up to 500 mA at either 5 V or 12 V, supporting high-resolution transducers without external power rails. Two probe inputs timestamp fiducial marks, and the internal counter can register square-wave signals to 1000 kHz for high-speed cam functions. The integrated safety package, identified as Safe Motion (S5), supervises velocity, standstill, and direction without shutting down the main control path, allowing guarded access cycles to complete quickly. This combination helps the drive respond accurately to registration marks, changing loads, and controlled access states during operation.
