The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-S4-DA-NN-AW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. The unit regulates servo and induction motors, combining power electronics with motion logic so machines can execute coordinated moves in packaging, handling, and processing lines. By integrating network communication and encoder evaluation inside one enclosure, the controller reduces panel wiring and provides deterministic command execution in distributed automation architectures.

Communication uses Multi-Ethernet, letting the device join EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, or EtherCAT networks. Transmission occurs over the 100Base-TX layer and is presented on a single 8-pin RJ-45 jack, so twisted-pair cables carry real-time motion data and parameter traffic. Feedback versatility is supported by the integrated Multi-Encoder interface that accepts SSI, EnDat, Hiperface, or resolver signals. For direct machine signaling, there are 5 configurable digital I/O lines whose direction can be set by software. Two DA analog inputs measure process values, while two DA analog outputs issue reference signals to external drives.
