Product Description:
The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-NN-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. As a modular drive controller component, it coordinates real-time motion and I/O processing inside IndraDrive automation platforms. It mounts on a standard DIN rail adjacent to the power section, minimizing cabinet depth and keeping nearby components accessible. In industrial automation, its role is to convert network commands into precise drive control signals, monitor feedback devices, and act as the central logic element for servo axes and auxiliary machine functions.
The unit offers 3 analog input channels for voltage or current reference signals and two analog outputs for feedback to external devices. Machine states can be captured through 11 digital inputs that respond to 24 V logic levels, which supports status monitoring and interlock handling within the control cabinet. A Multi-Encoder interface supplies up to 500 mA to position sensors, allowing direct connection of EnDat, Hiperface, or SSI feedback without external power supplies. Communication with higher-level systems is handled by a Multi-Ethernet module, and the board presents 2 independent ports that auto-negotiate at 100Base-TX speed, enabling ring, daisy-chain, or star topologies without additional switches.
Each port terminates on an RJ-45 8-pin connector and supports cable runs up to 100 m without repeaters. When the controller is energized, the inrush current stays below 5 A, and once steady state is reached, total consumption is 17 W from a regulated 24 V DC supply. Relay contacts on the board can switch loads up to 30 V for valve or lamp actuation, while the 1 ms maximum pulse width allows fast strobe outputs for timed signaling. The assembly weighs 0.750 kg in its unpacked form, which helps keep the overall DIN-rail installation manageable when multiple control sections are arranged inside compact electrical panels.
