Product Description:
The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-NN-L3-NN-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It acts as the control section that works with HCS02, HCS03, HCS04, HMS01, and HMS02 power modules to close the current, velocity, and position loops in modern servo systems. By processing encoder signals, generating gate commands, and supervising the Safe Torque Off circuit, the controller provides coordinated motion for conveyors, pick-and-place axes, and other automated stations.
The unit offers an analog input span of ±10 V across three channels, allowing external references such as tension or pressure setpoints to reach the control loop without added scaling hardware. Its analog outputs refresh every 750 µs, delivering timely feedback values to external meters or process controllers. Two analog outputs are available for signal feedback, and the controller also includes 11 dedicated digital inputs for limit switches, homing sensors, or user diagnostics. Encoder feedback enters through a multi-encoder interface, so the same controller can accept EnDat, Hiperface, or resolver signals, while two probe inputs support high-speed position latching and three optional slots accept expansion cards such as extra I/O or a second safety channel.
Five user-assignable digital I/O points simplify machine integration by allowing flexible signal assignment within the control system. Real-time communication is handled by Sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET IO, enabling deterministic data exchange with a centralized controller. Internal electronics draw only 17 W, which helps reduce panel heat. Operation is powered from a DC 24 V supply, so the logic remains active during mains disturbances, and Safe Torque Off is integrated for use with the listed HCS and HMS power sections.
