Product Description:
The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EP-NN-DA-NN-FW is a modular drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CSB Drive Controllers series. Designed for multi-axis automation platforms, the unit links servo motors to higher-level PLCs and regulates current, velocity, and position loops. Its integrated standard operating panel supports local setup and status access without adding a separate interface device. The controller is intended for installation in control cabinets that manage coordinated motion in packaging, material handling, and assembly systems.
The controller accepts a control supply of 24 VDC, which keeps the logic section separate from the main power bus. The base board provides 11 inputs and 5 configurable I/O points for functions such as homing, limit monitoring, and machine interlocks. The DA option adds 2 current/voltage inputs and 2 outputs, along with extra digital channels for process signals. Feedback is handled through a Multi-Encoder interface that supports Hiperface, EnDat 2.1/2.2, 1 Vss, 5 V TTL, SSI, and resolver formats. For networked motion control, the Multi-Ethernet master exchanges real-time data over Sercos III and can also be switched by software to EtherCAT, PROFINET IO, EtherNet/IP, or Powerlink.
The optional Digital/Analog I/O extension card allows additional temperature, pressure, or cam signals to be connected without separate external terminals. A dedicated Engineering Port provides local access for service communication while keeping that traffic off the active fieldbus. A changeover relay rated at 1 A can be used for contactor release or fault indication, and two touch-probe inputs capture position events with microsecond timing. The controller includes no integrated safety functions, so STO or SS1 must be provided by external hardware or a safety PLC.
