Product Description:
The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EM-S5-DA-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CSB Drive Controllers series. The unit manages motion axes, fieldbus communication, and safety monitoring in industrial automation cells, providing the interface between the higher-level PLC and connected servo motors. Its function is to regulate current and velocity loops so machines hold precise positions and repeat cycles accurately. This supports coordinated motion in applications where synchronized axis response and reliable signal exchange are both required.
Networking is handled through Multi-Ethernet, allowing the controller to connect to EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, Sercos over Ethernet, or PROFINET networks without additional cards. For feedback devices, the multi-encoder interface supplies both 12 V and 5 V rails, and each can deliver up to 500 mA so resolver, Hiperface, or EnDat sensors can be powered directly. The built-in emulation channel can also generate absolute and incremental encoder signals for connected systems. Command data are sampled with 12-bit resolution on the current loops and 14-bit resolution on the voltage loops, while two analog outputs are stepped at 24 mV per increment for drive diagnostics or process setpoints. The controller accepts 11 discrete inputs, two probe inputs for position-mark capture, three analog inputs, an I/O extension bus, and two analog outputs.
Configurable digital I/O lines support interlocking signals, status flags, and local sequence logic, and they can be expanded through the Digital/Analog I/O module when extra channels are required. The base unit also allows additional communication, encoder, or safety boards to be added without changing the footprint. Integrated Safe Motion technology supports controlled stop and limited-speed functions in systems designed to meet EN ISO 13849 or IEC 61508 requirements. The controller includes 5 user-defined digital channels and 3 modular slots.
