Product Description:
The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EM-NN-DA-NN-FW is a drive controller section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CSB Drive Controllers series. The module forms the control core of a servo axis package, executing motion commands, processing feedback, and exchanging data with cell-level PLCs over industrial Ethernet networks. By combining signal interfacing and protocol conversion in one housing, it streamlines integration of Rexroth servo motors and actuators into packaging, printing, and material-handling equipment. It supplies deterministic control cycles so position, velocity, and torque loops stay synchronized across multiple axes.
Its I/O and timing features support real-time performance. A Multi-Ethernet interface permits direct selection of fieldbus protocols without hardware changes, while the analog section offers 4 differential channels for voltage or current reference signals with 24 mV incremental resolution. Discrete control is handled through 14 digital points that can be mapped to fieldbus process images. Voltage outputs are generated with 14 bit granularity, and each change reaches the terminals within 250 µs, supporting finely stepped setpoints for pressure, speed, or tension regulation.
Further system resources round out the module. Digital outputs can source up to 500 mA, allowing the controller to drive contactors or status lamps without additional relays. An encoder service port uses a D-Sub 15-pin male connector and accepts feedback in Incremental, SSI, Level Converter formats through the multi-encoder interface, supporting use with different motor feedback types. Fieldbus traffic conforms to IEEE 802.3 Ethernet rules, and the same port supports sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET IO communication. The module does not include functional safety, so any emergency stop or safe torque off function must be implemented in the machine’s primary safety circuit.
