Product Description:
The CSB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-L3-EM-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat drive controller in the CSB Drive Controllers series. It coordinates motors and inverters in multi-axis machines by processing feedback, safety, and network data in real time. Installed inside a control cabinet, it regulates torque and speed loops so packaging lines, gantries, or assembly stations stay synchronized reliably during operation.
It draws a 17 W base load from the DC 24 V supply, easing auxiliary power sizing. The first 11 digital inputs accept 24 V control signals, and 5 additional configurable I/O points can be set as extra inputs or outputs. Two analog outputs supply ±10 V references for drives or monitors. High-speed EC feedback is accepted up to 1000 kHz, allowing precise position capture on linear axes, while the RS-422 emulator can drive 20 mA to maintain signal integrity over long cables. Absolute SSI and incremental encoder emulation are both available for drives that require standardized feedback formats. These resources let the controller gather position data, issue reference values, and handle state exchanges within one slot.
Three optional slots support extra fieldbus or encoder cards, and the base unit already includes STO (Safe Torque Off) for immediate torque disable without contactors. Communication runs on 100Base-TX wiring, and the Multi-Ethernet port auto-detects sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET IO, so a single part number matches diverse controllers. Two multi-encoder interfaces accept EnDat, Hiperface, resolver, or incremental feedback and can pass absolute SSI or incremental copies to other devices. Start-up inrush stays at less than 5 A, reducing stress on 24 V bus fuses. This layout links varied feedback devices to modern Ethernet topologies and supports integrated safety functions.
