It provides axis control, fieldbus connectivity, and local input and output handling for servo-based machinery such as packaging stations, pick-and-place gantries, and material-handling cells. It coordinates motor power stages and exchanges real-time data with higher-level PLCs, supporting synchronized motion and diagnostic feedback in industrial automation.
In operation, the controller handles 11 digital inputs for limit switches or sensor states, while 5 configurable I/O points can be set as either inputs or outputs depending on machine logic. Three analog inputs allow process variables such as tension or temperature to be read, and the unit supplies two analog outputs for proportional valve or speed reference signals.
