Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat CSB02.1A-ET-EC-EP-NN-NN-NN-FW control section belongs to the CSB Drive Controllers series and acts as the command layer for modular inverter power stages in automated machinery. By combining motion processing, fieldbus routing, and local I/O handling, the unit coordinates servo axes that sit on HCS or HMS power sections. In an automation cabinet, it supplies the real-time logic that interprets feedback, accepts plant-level Ethernet traffic, and issues switching signals to support deterministic motor and actuator behavior.
It provides a single analog voltage channel with a resolution of 14-bit. The channel count of 1 supports tasks such as speed reference input without consuming additional module space. Discrete control is handled through 7 dedicated digital inputs, one configurable bidirectional line, and a transistor output that can source up to 500 mA for contactor or brake relays. Internal logic and communication draw no more than 17 W, allowing the section to stay within cabinet thermal limits. Feedback devices plug into a D-Sub 15-pin female connector, and the controller can furnish 500 mA at 5 V to the encoder while limiting total encoder power to 6 W.
Networked motion is managed through a front-mounted Ethernet interface with an 8-pin RJ-45 socket operating at 100Base-TX. The port supports Sercos III, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET IO so the controller can exchange cyclic data with a wide range of PLC platforms. Two expansion bays provide 2 optional slots for fieldbus, I/O, or safety cards, and the integrated relay channel can switch up to 1000 mA when galvanic isolation is required for external circuits. The control section is electrically mated to HCS02, HCS03, HCS04, HMS01, or HMS02 power modules, so axis power can be scaled without altering the application program. Its limited dissipation allows passive convection cooling inside standard cabinets.
