Product Description:
The CSB02.1A-ET-EC-EM-L3-NN-NN-AW belongs to the CSB Drive Controllers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a compact motion-control unit intended for multi-axis automation where coordinated speed, position, and safety management are required. Within a cabinet, the controller links fieldbus traffic, feedback devices, and local I/O to the associated power section so that servo motors respond precisely to higher-level commands.
This model accepts one analog voltage channel with a conversion depth of 14 bit, giving fine resolution for setpoint or sensor signals. For deterministic networking, it carries a Multi-Ethernet interface that supports multiple real-time protocols without rewiring. Discrete events are read through a bank of 7 digital inputs. Ethernet cabling terminates on a RJ-45, 8-pin jack that operates at the 100Base-TX data rate, allowing standard CAT5e plant wiring. A local setup tool can be connected to the dedicated D-Sub 15-pin male port. Position feedback flexibility is provided by the integrated multi-encoder interface, letting the controller process incremental, absolute, or serial encoder formats without add-on cards.
Internal auxiliary supplies deliver 500 mA at both Ec 12 V and Ec 5 V rails for sensor power, while the safety channel implements Safe Torque Off to remove drive energy when an emergency stop is triggered. Encoder loading must stay below 6 W so the feedback device does not exceed its thermal limit, and relay contacts on the unit can switch up to 30 V for brake or external status circuits. The sine-wave measurement path filters frequencies above 400 kHz, whereas square-wave inputs can be evaluated up to 1000 kHz for high-speed tachometer signals. These limits set the response range when the controller is used in packaging, printing, or handling systems that demand accurate data capture at elevated motor speeds.
