The CSB01.1N-SE-ENS-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW is a single-axis control section built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It mounts into IndraDrive modular racks and provides real-time axis regulation for servo drives used in material handling cells, packaging machinery, and general factory automation. By combining motion control logic, fiber-optic network communication, and local safety functions in one compact module, it helps conserve panel space while maintaining deterministic communication between the drive and the higher-level PLC.

The housing measures 241 mm high, 49.5 mm wide, and 103 mm deep, which supports dense side-by-side installation. Up to 8 optically isolated digital inputs can accept position triggers and limit-switch signals, while 3 transistor digital outputs can report status or forward drive-ready signals. Each output channel can source 500 mA, and the internal distribution rail can supply 1000 mA per output group for inductive loads such as relays. A form-A relay contact provides galvanically separated power-off confirmation, the SERCOS interface uses a fiber port for cyclic data exchange, and an RS-232 Mini-DIN service port is available for parameter access and diagnostics. Starting Lockout is the integrated safety option, and it inhibits the power stage until an external reset confirms the safe state.

The encoder connector provides a regulated DC 11.6 V supply at up to 300 mA for IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, or TTL feedback devices. This arrangement removes the need for a separate external sensor supply and keeps feedback wiring more compact inside the cabinet. Position data from the connected feedback device is processed every control cycle so the controller can generate smooth velocity profiles for the attached axis. Control signals routed through the relay can also switch auxiliary brakes or contactors when the application requires external power-stage interlocking.
