The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-NNN-L1-S-K1-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It plugs into an IndraDrive power unit to control one servo axis, execute current and velocity loops, and forward diagnostic data to higher-level systems. By combining high-speed control hardware, communication ports, and integrated safety functions, the module supports motion tasks in automated packaging lines, material-handling cells, and assembly stations. Its compact board format helps save cabinet space and reduces wiring length between feedback devices and the drive electronics.

The electronics require a stabilized input of 24 V DC, and at standby the board draws only 8 W, which helps limit cabinet heat. Torque and position loops refresh every 125 µs, allowing rapid response to changing load conditions. Upstream data exchange takes place over Sercos II, which provides deterministic telegram timing for coordinated axis control. During power-up, the auxiliary supply must tolerate an inrush current of 4.5 A, so the supporting protection devices must be sized for that temporary demand. The board also includes three configurable digital I/O points, one normally open relay contact, and a standard front control panel for local operation.

The unit is configured for a single-axis drive, so its processing resources are dedicated to one motor channel. Its feedback port accepts encoder signals in IndraDyn / HIPERFACE / 1 Vss / TTL formats, which allows the same hardware to work with different feedback types without external converters. At startup, the surge interval can last up to 110 ms, so drive enable timing should wait until internal capacitors are charged. Machine safety is supported by the Starting Lockout function, which blocks torque release until the monitored conditions are satisfied. An RS232 maintenance interface is provided for service access and parameter transfer.
