The Bosch CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is a control section. It belongs to the category of basic universal control sections. It has been developed specifically for Rexroth IndraDrive drive controllers. Master communication on the device is SERCOS which is a standard for real-time data communication over fiber-optic cables. The network topology used for SERCOS is ring which allows communication even if a single fiber node fails or if a fiber is cut at a single location. SERCOS supports 2 / 4 Mbps data rates. CSB01.1 series devices can also be ordered with SERCOS III interfaces which support 100 Mbps full-duplex communication. The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is a configurable. A standard control panel can be used for the configuration. A PC with programming software that connects to the RS-232 port on the device can also be used for configuration.
The modular architecture of the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW allows installation of two optional modules and one safety module. Pre-installed modules on the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW are IndraDyn encoder and analog I/O extension. Safety module installed on the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW is safe torque off (STO). This safety feature is designed for variable frequency drives and turns off power to the drive output to prevent the attached motor from producing torque. STO is an emergency stop feature that causes the motor controlled by the drive to coast to a stop. Three switching frequencies are supported by the drive include 2 / 4 / 8 kilohertz. The minimum SERCOS cycle time is 1000 microseconds. The two options for velocity control cycle times are 250 and 500 microseconds. The two options for position control cycle times are 500 and 1000 microseconds. Firmware for the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW has to be ordered as a separate subposition.
