The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-L2-S-NN-FW controller card is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CSB Drive Controllers series. It plugs into an IndraDrive power section and delivers axis control, fieldbus communication, and safety logic for industrial automation systems such as packaging lines, material-handling stations, and assembly cells. The module coordinates torque, speed, and position loops while relaying status data to the plant controller, supporting compact drive cabinets and coordinated machine operation.

Its base circuit dissipates only 8 W under nominal conditions, so cabinet heating is minimal. A current control cycle of 125 µs updates the PWM stage 8,000 times per second, supporting tight torque regulation. During power-up, the electronics draw an inrush current of 4.5 A for 110 ms, so fuses must accommodate this transient. Master communication uses the SERCOS optical ring and supplies synchronized telegrams for up to 64 axes. The safety circuitry has a rating of SIL3 / Cat. 3 PL e for hazardous-motion applications. Primary and secondary encoder ports accept IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vss, or TTL signals, so the card reads absolute or incremental feedback without converters. One normally open relay contact is available for general signaling.

The integrated Safe Torque Off channel removes drive firing pulses when the 24 V / 3 mA safety input goes low, and the 24 V / 1 A safety acknowledgment line can confirm the status. Physical dimensions measure a height of 241 mm, a width of 49.5 mm, and a depth of 103 mm, allowing installation in a 100 mm slot with two cards side by side. A 9-pin female D-Sub safety connector simplifies wiring of the STO, reset, and relay circuits, and all terminations are on the card front edge for service access while the SERCOS fiber pair and encoder cables exit the power section toward the top of the cabinet.
