The CSB01.1C-S3-ENS-NNN-L1-S-K1-FW drive controller card is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It is intended to serve as the command and regulation module inside an IndraDrive assembly, supervising torque, velocity, and position loops for single-axis or multi-axis machinery. By executing high-speed control algorithms, forwarding diagnostic data to the plant network, and coordinating responses to load changes, the card supports repeatable motion in packaging lines, material handling systems, and other industrial automation equipment.
The controller communicates with higher-level devices over Sercos III, enabling deterministic real-time exchange of setpoints and status bits. Its current loop closes every 125 µs, and the probe input registers position latches within 1 µs, so the board can synchronize axis movements with fast sensor events and maintain accurate timing during rapid machine sequences. Five dedicated digital inputs supplement three configurable I/O points; each input accepts signals rated at 24 V, 3 mA while the transistor output channels can source 24 V, 0.5 A to actuate contactors or indicator lamps. A standard front-mounted control panel provides local parameter access and diagnostic LEDs, making setup, status review, and routine adjustments easier at the machine.
Feedback versatility is supplied through an encoder interface that accepts IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, 1 Vss, or TTL signals, and the sensor ports deliver DC 11.6 V, 300 mA to power those transducers. At startup the module draws an inrush of 4.5 A, after which steady-state consumption stays within the drive rack limits. One relay output with a DC 24 V, 1 A contact rating is available for fault annunciation, and logic interlocks can be enhanced using the integrated safety function identified as Starting Lockout. Option slot two is not equipped, which leaves space for application-specific expansion hardware and gives the controller more flexibility in custom drive configurations.
