The CSB01.1C-S3-ENS-EN1-L1-S-NN-FW drive controller is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It attaches to an IndraDrive power section and executes motion commands from a central PLC, acting as the control brain within an industrial automation cell. By combining axis control, communication, and device supervision in one compact unit, the product coordinates servo motion in packaging, printing, or material-handling lines. Its housing fits standard control cabinets and mounts directly beside the associated power electronics.
The controller handles a single-axis drive and exchanges real-time command data over Sercos III. For local machine signaling, it provides integrated digital inputs and outputs, removing the need for external I/O modules. Parameter setting and diagnostics through a PC are available through the dedicated RS-232 service port. Position feedback from the motor is processed through a universal encoder socket that accepts IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL signals, so one card can support multiple transducer formats. A relay output is built in, allowing status forwarding to contactor logic or stack-light circuits without extra hardware.
One configurable slot is available for hardware expansion, with 1 open position, so the base unit can accept a future fieldbus or safety module when required. Configuration data and operating software reside on a removable MultiMediaCard. Day-to-day operation is handled through the standard operator panel on the front door, which provides keys and a display for jogging, parameter browsing, and fault reset.
